Top California contractor enjoys smooth go live on integrated enterprise system
TORONTO – August 4, 2011 – CMiC, the leader in creating the most advanced and technologically open enterprise-wide software solutions for construction, today announced that Charles Pankow Builders Ltd., an award-winning general contractor, have completed the migration to the CMiC platform on time and within budget. The go live represents the culmination of a multi-year effort to evaluate, select and implement a new integrated platform under Pankow’s “One Write” strategy.
The Pankow integration team was comprised of a small group of dedicated ‘super-users’ representative of the company as a whole and included high level representation from management. Working alongside CMiC consultants with a focus on comprehensive hands-on training sessions, the super-user team successfully navigated the implementation of the CMiC Project Management, Accounting, Human Resources and Imaging/Workflow modules.
“The go live date was marked with minimal disruption to the company’s operating groups” said Kim Petersen, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Pankow. "Thanks to the efforts of the CMIC staff, we were able to complete the project on time and within budget. We now have a platform that is an essential and key component in our long term strategic plan".
