Webcor Builders

One of the largest volume General Contractors in California, Webcor Builders has over forty years of experience, working for clients such as Lucasfilm, California Academy of Sciences, eBay, Oracle Corporation, Symantec and Starwood Lodging. Webcor's history, experience and expertise has secured Webcor's position as a leading builder of large-scale, high-profile projects. Known for its visionary use of technology, Webcor offers cutting-edge methods and technologies that deliver significant value and benefits to their clients. Through industry and academic research, Webcor identifies the best emerging technologies and helps develop them into new tools, advancing the science of building.

Webcor won 1st place in the 2010 CMiC Innovation Awards for their innovation called Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), which electronically exchanges information between CMiC and other systems, using web services, XML, custom programming and direct CMiC table updates.  EDI eliminates the need for double data entry and keeps CMiC and the other systems, such as Owner-mandated project management systems, in synch. The innovation has generated considerable ROI for Webcor, along with providing real-time sharing of RFI and submittal data and improving communication between members of the project team.

CMiC donated the 1st place award money, on Webcor's behalf , to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
