The Layton Companies, based in Utah, is a diversified holding company of engineering and construction-related firms including Layton Construction, Interior Construction Specialists, and CEntry. The Company’s core competency specializes in general contracting, construction management, and design-build. Although the corporate offices have been located in Utah for over 50 years, Layton completes work throughout the United States. Beyond performing construction management services, Layton operates a self-performing concrete division that is one of the largest in the Intermountain West. The Layton Companies is ranked as the 80th largest commercial contractor in the U.S. by ENR Magazine and is No. 1 on Intermountain Contractor’s 2008 list of Top Regional General Contractors.
Layton selected CMiC in 2001 to replace its previous disparate systems. Layton won 1st place in the 2008 Innovation Awards place for the Concrete Scorecard, a graphical representation of the performance of concrete projects. This innovation was based on a customized Production Report that displays the weekly, job-to-date, budget dollars for each phase code along with a metric for production for concrete jobs.
Layton donated their $10,000 award money to the
Huntsman Cancer Foundation.

DPR Foundation.

Paric Corporation was founded in 1979 as a premier construction company. Paric offers project preconstruction and construction services through a variety of project delivery methods including design/build, construction management and negotiated general contracting. Over the years, Paric's project management approach has become known as "Paric-Build" and is currently being applied on projects in the following markets: industrial and institutional facilities, healthcare facilities, office interiors, commercial buildings, senior living, historic renovations and environmental systems. Paric's range of operations is Missouri, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.
Paric Corporation implemented CMiC Project Management and combined with CMiC found considerable time and money savings in the automation of various processes. Paric will be donating the $2,000 award money to the Multiple Sclerosis National Research Institute.
